For several years, the Lake House Bocce Ball Tournament proudly supported the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, helping raise awareness for an important cause. We are grateful for the generosity of our community and the meaningful impact we have made together.

This year, we are honored to continue the tournament’s tradition of giving by supporting Operation Warm Heart, a local military assistance program operated by the Joint Base Charleston First Sergeants Council. The program provides immediate financial assistance and essential resources to military families throughout Joint Base Charleston during times of unexpected hardship.

Operation Warm Heart provides emergency financial assistance, food and household essentials, baby supplies, school supplies, gift cards, and other critical resources that help military families navigate life’s unexpected challenges with dignity and confidence.

One hundred percent of this year’s tournament proceeds benefit Operation Warm Heart, ensuring every dollar raised stays in the Lowcountry to provide direct support to military families when they need it most.

Why Operation Warm Heart? Military families make extraordinary sacrifices in service to our country. Behind every service member is a family navigating deployment, relocations, financial challenges, medical emergencies, and the everyday realities of military life.

When unexpected hardships arise, the Joint Base Charleston First Sergeants Council, through its Warm Heart program, provides immediate assistance that helps restore stability, reduce stress, and ensure military families have the support they need to move forward with confidence. Because the program serves families right here in the Lowcountry, every donation makes an immediate and meaningful impact on our local military community.
